Our pricing structure was designed with growing practice in mind. Instead of charging by staff members and users, we charge based on the number of active clients you have. What does that mean? Your practice’s revenue is based on the number of clients you’re actively seeing, we wanted a practice management system to reflect that. No man is an island and to provide quality care, it takes a team of people in addition to the clinician. With TheraNest, you can add as many staff members (billers, front desk, interns, etc.) and providers at no extra cost so you and your team can all be on the same page as you work together to provide for your clients.
TheraNest vs. SimplePractice: What You Actually Get
Though TheraNest and SimplePractice pricing may look similar at first glance, when it comes to best value for the money, TheraNest is a clear choice. We offer more features at a lower cost. We believe everyone should have affordable access to technology and you shouldn’t be penalized with subpar, feature stripped plans when choosing a lower cost option.

What You Need to Know about Wiley Integrations
As of February 2019, SimplePractice now offers Wiley Treatment Planners for $15/month per therapist. TheraNest continues to offer both Wiley Treatment Planners and Progress Notes Planners for only $25/month per therapist. TheraNest’s integration with Wiley is also more robust and offers you the features you want. With SimplePractice’s Wiley Treatment Planners, you do not have the option to change or add anything to a Treatment Plan after you have created it with the Wiley integration—this means, you cannot customize your treatment plans and have deicide if you’re willing to sacrifice functionality for convenience. With TheraNest, you’re not forced to make that choice. All treatment plans and progress notes created with Wiley Practice Planners are editable and fully customizable to fit your client’s unique needs.

Our support team is second to none. We’re not only here for you when you’re signing up for your TheraNest account, we’re with you every step of the way throughout your private practice journey. You can talk to a member of our support team on the phone, through email, and via in-app messaging. Unlike with SimplePractice, you don’t have to schedule an appointment to talk to our support team, we’re available via phone Monday – Friday, 7AM to 7PM CT. The best part? There’s no robots around. With TheraNest, collecting and reconciling payments is a breeze. We worked with hundred of therapists to help design a billing workflow that is organized and easy to follow—both for insurance and self pay clients.

We offer a competitive credit card processing rate. It doesn’t matter if you swipe a card, charge a stored card, or manually enter the credit card information, our rates stay the same (we can’t say the same for some of our competitors). There’s never any gateway fees, monthly fees, or refund fees—you can rest assured that you won’t be bogged down with expensive fees at the end of the month.
With credit card processing, you also have access to our batch payments feature which allows you to easily charge multiple credit cards at the same time to quickly process and apply payments to open invoices—saving you hours of time while still ensuring you have control over who is being charged.
